The Reinvestigation Workgroup is a Minnesota-based investigative team that re-examines cases of police violence. WE ARE NOT ATTORNEYS¹, just volunteer investigators.

Our overarching goal is to help families learn the truth of what happened to their loved ones and to get the authentic narrative of police killings to the public.

For every police killing, there’s a conventional narrative that is spread by the police and the county attorney to avoid holding law enforcement officers accountable. Despite this, we know that “the way to right wrongs is to turn the light of truth upon them.”
